Weather for the first week of April???

I know this is a long shot and perhaps a ';best guess'; by someone whose been (or lives) there but...we will be in Rockaway Beach from March 30 until April 6. What may we expect in the way of temps. %26amp; weather?!?

Any one who predicts weather at coast is not right. then they may be.

If you can not stand some rain April not good time, then it probably won%26#39;t rain every day all day long.

I grew up near Roackaway Beach and I%26#39;ve seen snow, 70+ mph winds and temps in the 80%26#39;s. Phirl is right, it can not be predicted accurately. I%26#39;d guess it will be windy, cool and showery though.

Wither the weather - I%26#39;ve lived in Tillamook County for 30 years and the previous posts are right, could be sunny, high%26#39;s in the lower 60%26#39;s but more likely in the lower 50%26#39;s. Could be sunny every day just as likely for rain every day, most likely would be periods of clouds, some precip with sun breaks. Here is a climate summery for Newport, OR which has similar weather.

Hope this won%26#39;t dissuade you, the ocean is always a wonder, always be careful of sneaker waves on the beach, keep a constant eye on youngs ones.

At low minus tides you can see tide pools just off Hwy 101 in Barview, between RB and Garibaldi. There is a pull off and interprative signs. Try not to pick up the live things, they don%26#39;t do as well after handling.

Check city of RB web site for local activites. Hope you decide to visit and have a really great time.
