pdx park and fly hotel

Trying to decide between the Hampton Inn and the Staybridge Suites. Park and fly rates are about the same. Any advice? Thanks

Never been to those two but have stayed at the Shilo for Parknfly and it was awesome. The rooms are huge, modern, comfortable, they have a great cont. breakfast, and the staff was very nice. We will be using them again. I%26#39;m not sure how it compares price wise though.

We really like the Hampton Inn. Never stayed at Staybridge. Hampton has a great free breakfast buffet, updated rooms and friendly service. The van driver that picked us up at the end of our trip at 11pm was very friendly, especially at that hour. It is a little tricky to get to as it is on a frontage road right next to airport drive. You may need to backtrack to get there and watch for the signs. If you are coming from I-205, go west on Airport until you get to the exit for long term parking and then find the frontage road that keeps going west. The Sheraton is right next door.

coastview, I will also say that we%26#39;ve stayed at LaQuinta a few times as well. They also have great service and a pretty good breakfast buffet but the van seemed to take forever to pick us up at the end of our long flights so we were shopping for something a little closer. The prices seem pretty comparable.

Thanks for the advice including the driving directions. We went with the Hampton Inn. Will report back after our stay.

The Hampton Inn worked out well. Very courteous and helpful staff. Shuttle drivers were great and on time. The pool is outdoors so guests can use the indoor one next door at the Sheraton. A good rate if you use the 2 week parking as we did. Noticed our Hawaiian Air crew stayed there as well. I%26#39;d stay there again.

Hope you had a great trip. I%26#39;m going to assume you went to Maui. The Hampton Inn and Sheraton are tricky to get to and we found out the hard way so I%26#39;ve made a mental note of it.
