Beware of Paulina Lake Lodge

We were entirely mislead about pricing

We arrived and were treated disrespectfully by the owner

We entered the cabin and it was absolutely filthy--mouse droppings, soiled linens, corroded and rotten sink and counter area, the dirtiest shower curtain i have ever seen. very thick dust everywhere, a very uncomfortable and extremely old saggy matress with years of stains, rags for towels, bathroom was disgusting.

Wayyyyy over priced. This place is a dump. the rooms should be 25 a night, or free.

Ironic timing as there was just an article in the Destinations section of our paper yesterday on Paulina Lake Resort. Is this the same place?

Yikes, that%26#39;s too bad. We have friends re-locating from Seaside to La PIne, I%26#39;ll give them a heads-up. Did you eat at the restaurant there? You may want to consider posting a review about your stay also. :)

Their website cherry picks views and facilities. Too bad you did not inquire, a lesson learned for all of us. We rent boats there when we stay in Sun River, but only to explore the environment and to bird. It%26#39;s really mostly for fishers and...
