Portland in the Movies Once Again

Portland is busy with films being made all over town and in surrounding areas.

We have a few people in our building, movie directors and producers..seems that with the high costs of filming in NY and LA, Portland has become a favorite with film crews.

Untraceable with Diane Lane and a film called Fractured with Anthony Hopkins are the two that I know of.

They say that the prices are better here but it is also such a beautiful area, they like filming here..

If it is good enough for Hollywood, I think it is good enough for the rest of us lol...Come to Portland and don%26#39;t forget your Camera :)

Portland in the Movies Once Again

You are definitely right about Portland (and the entire area) becoming quite the area for film crews. A friend of ours from Seattle is in the business and he almost has more work down here than at home. We are trying to convince them to move, lol!

Just a week or two ago there was a movie on TV that he filmed here. He stays with us when he has projects here, so we get to hear about the interesting stuff they do and where they find to film.
