They are handy for residents also , there are so many events going on in town all year round, it makes it easier to keep up with what is happening .. the Wine and Seafood Festival starts in Feb with more than 65 wineries and 20 restaurants participating.

The 30th Portland Film Festival begins with more than 100 films, showing at various locations in the city, all sorts of interesting films and people show up :)

Following that will be the Portland Jazz Festival, so the winter here in Portland brings plenty of things to do and enjoy.

Thanks for the reminder, Scarlett. As a local, I sometimes get so caught up in routine that I don%26#39;t think outside of it. The seafood and wine deal looks right up my alley. :-) I wonder how long it%26#39;s been going on without my knowing about it?

Thanks for posting that. I got that email too, but hadn%26#39;t read it yet. We have not been to the seafood and wine festival here, but used to go to the one in Newport each year. Somehow the Convention Center just seems wrong, lol!

So is it true ? Could Snow be an upcoming event in Portland? :)
