we want to take our boat to one of these three lakes in mid-july and do some shore camping for about 5 days...really get away. not familiar with any of these lakes, so any advice would be appreciated.
* is it allowed?
* do you need a permit?
* good cove suggestions?
* can you have a campfire?

They are all in Calif. We lived in Redding for 5 years and shore camped on Shasta and Trinity Lakes, Pretty easy to do then. have no idea current rules, maybe you should check N Cal boards.
