We stayed at the 5js beach home in otter rock for our vacation in October. We really loved the decor, all ship%26#39;s wood through out the the house and a nice coffered ceiling with antique looking tin tiles in the entry. There is a small stone fireplace in the living area with a pretty rustic mantle that has natural bark is high gloss and obviously hand crafted. Other hand crafted touches was a huge ships wheel and a ship ladder to access a loft.
The kids loved it and the kitchen had everything we needed. There are granite counters and separate areas through the house to curl up to a good book with good lighting for such, and books right there.
We were in the middle of a big storm but it was great being there and feeling like we were right at sea in the middle of it in our cozy house.
We found this house by chance on the web and found the owners very attentive and commited to help us enjoy our stay. At first, I was a little concerned about not being in the middle of Newport, but once we got to this house, we really didn%26#39;t want to leave. We just wish we could have stayed longer.

I just googled it and it looks like its on the same road as the Devils Punch Bowl, with a couple of little shops just down the block.
