Anthony Boudain

To anyone interested, I saw last night that this coming Monday (Jan 15) at 10 pm on the Travel Channel, Anothony Bourdain will be exploring the Pacific NW.

Everything you ever wanted to know about Anthony Bourdain can also be read on portlandfood.org...

I wonder when he was in Oregon last , he was in Lebanon during the bombing so I am not sure when he was actually here.

Den, I googled it and it seems to be the episode from 2005.

But it still is good to watch .. :D

We were watching the Travel Channel last night and saw that about the show on Monday. We were laughing at the tidbits they showed:) Were you watching the Travel Channel last night by chance?

Yes! I rarely miss Samantha Brown. She cracks me up!! B4 that I was watching the family that traveled to New Zealand. That was pretty interesting.

Den--Isn%26#39;t she good?! She has a great sense of humor! Last night, the little village of Eze...it reeled me in and I told DH I want to go there. Then the show on Edinburgh made us both want to go back. Sigh...I need to buy lottery tickets and hope, lol!

I am lacking in Travel Channel knowledge, obviously. I have not seen any Samantha Brown shows.

Samantha has been on the Travel Channel for couple of years. This past year they began a series of 1/2 hour segments with her traveling throughout Europe. Very interesting for those of us less traveled. DW and DS, who is 8, love her too. We rarely miss a show. Check it out on Thursdays on the Travel Channel.

Scarlett--OMG, you will LOVE this show!!! Much better than Rick Steve%26#39;s or Rudy Maxwell (but I will watch anything when they show some great places, lol!).

The best travel show bar none is Globetrekker on PBS, but I liked Bourdain%26#39;s show as well.

I must have missed Bourdain in the NW when it was new - I%26#39;ll check it out.

It was a new (2007) show. I watched it and found it entertaining, especially camping at Lost Lake and clamming on Puget Sound.

Oh, and the maple bar with bacon on top peaked my interest!!!
