We had the best meal at the new restaurant in Sisters: Jen%26#39;s Garden. The sous chef came from the Inn at Suttle Lake. It is family owned. The husband is the head chef and his wife makes the yummy desserts. It is on E. Hood, one block over from the main drag and across the side street from the hardware store. The restaurant is in an antique cottage with a garden out back (summer only, as you can imagine...) You can order a fixed price menu or a la carte. The lamb is to die for, great sauce and medium rare, just the way we ordered it. The menu changes every week and is posted on the website www.intimatecottagecuisine.com Unfortunately, I have to wait until February to eat there again. Closed for January. It has had great write ups in the Portland paper. The food is Mediterranean but more like fusion. We had medium rare duck breast one time with cherry bread pudding. I thought my husband had died and gone to heaven. And Asian style scallops which I loved.

We ate there this summer and during Thanksgiving as well. I agree we had wonderful dinners everything was fantastic and the service great. Nice to have another choice in Sisters!!
