Best boarding @ Bachelor?

I%26#39;ll defer to Sillybilly about boarding on Mt. Bachelor. The closest place to stay between Bend and Mt. Bachelor would be the Seventh Mountain Resort. They have two heated pools and one is open all year but I don%26#39;t think it is indoors. If you want to go shopping or out to eat at somewhere besides their restaurants, or if you plan to party on New Years Eve, then you%26#39;ll need to drive a few miles to Bend. Mt. Bachelor Village Resort is in Bend and you get free use of the athletic club that has a pool. There is a shuttle that leaves from Bend to the Mountain that costs $5.00 each way and with that, you don%26#39;t have to worry about road conditions and parking at Mt. Bachelor and you can stay wherever you want in Bend and dirve to the Park %26amp; Ride. The Phoenix Inn is downtown and has an indoor pool and so does the Ameritel Inn which is in the Old Mill District, with shopping and restaurants. La Quinta Inn on the south end of town on Hwy. 97 also has an indoor pool as do a couple of places on the north edge of Bend. Sunriver is also an option you could check out.

Best boarding @ Bachelor?

The best boarding at Mt. Bachelor is subject to what you like, your skill level, etc. There are the usual pipes, parks, and lots of high speed lifts.

Mt. Bachelor is a single ski resort, and doesn%26#39;t have several resorts like Mt. Hood, if that%26#39;s what you were wondering. One price, all lifts on the mountain.

Bachelor is the best blue-run skiing and boarding in the Pac NW in my opinion, and has the best snow too.

Expert skiiers and boarders like Heather Canyon at Mt. Hood Meadows and the Outback at Ski Bowl on Mt. Hood for their steep and challenging double-black runs, but for fun all day boarding, I%26#39;ll take Bachelor any day.

Bachelor has apparently but a lot of work into the terrain parks. And the powder is great!

Staying downtown will put you near shopping and restaurants, and adds only minutes to your drive. My mom always stays at the Phoenix, and is happy with that location.

Did you get your answer here or would you like more info Raingle??
